Archiving Policy

Sustainable Education and Digital Transformation (SEDT) is committed to the long-term preservation of its digital content to ensure that published research remains accessible to the global academic community. Every article published in the journal is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref, which serves as a permanent link to the research. In the absence of third-party automated archiving networks, we maintain a robust internal preservation strategy involving regular, multi-layered backups of all PDF full texts and XML metadata on both secure cloud servers and physical storage systems.

We actively support "Green Open Access" by encouraging authors to self-archive the Version of Record (the final published PDF) in their institutional repositories or professional profiles such as ResearchGate and Academia.edu. This decentralized approach ensures that multiple copies of the work exist across various academic platforms, enhancing the resilience of the digital record. Authors are simply required to provide a citation and a link to the original source on the SEDT website, including the DOI.

To guarantee permanent accessibility, SEDT ensures that its metadata is consistently shared with international indexing services and discovery databases. In the event that the journal ceases publication, we commit to migrating all published content to a stable, open-access repository or a university-backed digital archive. This ensures that the scholarly contributions entrusted to SEDT are never lost and remain searchable and citable for future generations of researchers and educators.
